How to Order, Pricing and FAQ's

The Ordering Process

Collections

Stage 1

INITIAL CONTACT - COLLECTIONS

Fantastic! I'm so happy you've seen a collection you love! I'm so excited for you...

The first step is to contact me either by email/phone or by filling out the enquiry form.

I will then send you a questionnaire/form for you to complete with the details that I'll need to give you a quote for your stationery and to then begin your digital proof.

Once I have received your details, a £50 deposit is then required before I make a start on designing your layout ready to send you a visual for you to see and check.

Stage 2

CREATION OF YOUR PROOF & YOUR APPROVAL

Depending on your requirements and whether colours need tweaking etc, this stage usually takes around 3-7 working days.

Once you have checked through the details and the design of your digital proof and given me the go ahead, payment in full (unless otherwise agreed) is then required before I proceed with printing.

*Any changes after I have been given the go ahead will be charged accordingly.

Stage 3

PRINTING AND MAKING (I love this stage)

This is my favourite stage when I bring your stationery to life and I get so excited for you. This usually takes up to 3 weeks depending on your numbers and how detailed the assembly is. Evelyn & Elliot is a small business and at busy times this lead time can increase. If you are on a tight timescale, please let me know at the beginning of your ordering process so I can try and prioritise accordingly.

Stage 4

DELIVERY/COLLECTION

Once your stationery is ready, I will send your order packaged carefully with Royal Mail recorded and signed for. On occasion I may have to use an alternative currier  I will contact you to let you know that you order is on its way. 

If you are local we can arrange for collection/delivery.

Bespoke

Stage 1

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

I'm so excited that you've chosen my bespoke option for your wedding stationery. I can't wait to work with you to create a unique design to reflect you and your wedding day.

As you can imagine, my bespoke service is more involved than choosing a collection. So I'd love to arrange a phone call/zoom or meeting with you so we can discuss your plans, colours, theme etc and for you to show me any inspiration you may already have that will help me visualise your requirements and design your perfect stationery to match your day.

Don't worry if you're feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to start. I'm here to help and I am very happy to make suggestions to get things started. You can contact me anytime!

I will provide you with a quote based on your requirements. Once you decide to go ahead a £50 deposit plus your bespoke design fee (£75) is required at this stage before I begin the design process.

Stage 2

DESIGNING YOUR STATIONERY

From here, I will create 2 designs for you to choose from. This service includes up to 2 minor alterations you may wish to make. Please allow anything from 1 – 3  weeks for this stage. The timeframe really depends on what is involved – I will always keep you updated along the way.

Stage 3

FINAL PROOF TO TRIPLE CHECK & YOUR APPROVAL

A final proof is then emailed to you for your approval. The remaining balance is then due before I go ahead with printing and making your stationery.

Stage 4

PRINTING AND MAKING (I love this stage)

This is the really exciting stage when your beautiful stationery comes to life. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so your order will be packed, assembled and triple checked to make sure everything is perfect ready for delivery. This usually takes up to 3 weeks depending on your numbers and how detailed the assembly is. Evelyn & Elliot is a small business and at busy times this lead time can increase. If you are on a tight timescale then please let me know at the beginning of the ordering process so I can account for this.

Stage 5

DELIVERY/COLLECTION

   Pricing   

A none personalised sample can be purchased at £7.00 including postage if you'd like to see and feel the quality.

Collections

Pricing will depend on your choice of design, finishes to your stationery and the number of invites you require (remember you only need one invite per family and not per guest). Prices vary and start from £3 per invite and £5 per package. A package includes, invitation, information card, r.s.v.p. and envelopes. Designs can be simplified or made more elaborate depending on your taste and budget. I have several styles and options for you to choose from, enabling you to build your own package. There is a wide choice of finishes including type of card, wax seals, ribbons, twine, tags etc. Please contact me and I will happily provide you with a quote based on your stationery requirements.

Bespoke

I appreciate how each wedding is unique and I love to reflect this in your stationery. If you choose to use my bespoke service, your design can then be used across all of your stationery including on the day items. My Bespoke design fee is £75 and as you can appreciate, final pricing will depend on your choice of design/layout, finishes on your stationery and the number of invites you require, (remember you only need one invite per family and not per guest). There is a wide choice of finishes including type and format of card, wax seals, ribbons, twine, tags etc. Please contact me and I will happily provide you with a quote based on your stationery requirements.

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

My usual turnaround time for my collections is approximately 2-4 weeks. I will always give you an estimate before you commit to your order. If you are on a tight timescale, please contact me and I can advise if it is possible to produce your order any sooner. This will depend on the individual circumstances and how busy I am in the studio.

For orders requiring significant custom design and all bespoke wedding invitations, be sure to allow several weeks for the design process to be finalised and your stationery to be printed.

 

HOW MUCH DO YOUR INVITATIONS COST?

HOW MANY WEDDING INVITATIONS SHOULD I ORDER?

Remember that you do not need to send an invitation to every single guest, but one per couple/family. Customers usually half the number of wedding invites vs guests. I would advise that you order a few extra to allow for addressing errors or last-minute guest list changes. Reprints are costly due to the manual steps required to process each order, so it is always considerably cheaper to order a few extra up front, rather than reprint more cards later.

 

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?

Due to the personalised nature of my invitations, unfortunately I cannot accept returns. In the unfortunate incident of your order being damaged during delivery please contact me to discuss.


CAN I CHANGE THE WORDING? 

Yes, wording can be changed. I have several options that I'd be happy to show you should you need any help with this. You can supply your own wording to suit the nature of your wedding and I will format it to make sure that it looks right with the design that you have chosen.

 

HOW CAN I CUSTOMISE MY INVITATIONS?

Most of my collections can be customised. Many of the elements can be altered such as the wording, font, colours and extras added. I will always do my very best to match your wedding colours. Please remember colours may vary from screen to screen.

Please note that for each of my collections I have chosen the font to suit the design so I recommend keeping these the same, If you do choose to change the font this may alter the look of the design.

If you decide to use my bespoke design service I can choose a font to your taste to suit your personal design.

 

CAN I USE YOUR INVITE DESIGNS FOR OTHER OCCASIONS SUCH AS ANNIVERSARY, ENGAGEMENT, CHRISTENING ETC?

Yes! All of my invitation designs can be used for any event you like. Wording can be made to suit your event and colours can be changed to suit.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAPER OPTIONS?

I have a mix of paper options, including

White/Ivory smooth 350gsm (standard)

White/Ivory Textured 300gsm

Handmade Rag Paper with torn edges

CAN YOU PRINT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE INVITATIONS?

Yes a design can be printed on both sides of our standard white and textured cards. Unfortunately due to the delicate nature of my handmade rag papers, I recommend printing on one side only.

 

CAN MY INVITATIONS BE PERSONALLY ADDRESSED TO MY INDIVIDUAL GUESTS?

Unfortunately I don't currently offer guest addressed envelopes but I can accommodate rsvp return address envelopes.

 

DO YOU OFFER A BESPOKE WEDDING INVITATION DESIGN SERVICE?

DO YOU POST WORLDWIDE?

I am very happy to accommodate international orders, please get in touch and I can work out the shipping costs for you. International orders are subject to any customs & fees that apply to your country.

 

CAN I ORDER A SAMPLE?

Yes, I will be more than happy to send you a sample. All samples are unpersonalised.
Please contact me to order. I charge £7.00 per sample including delivery.

 

CAN I SEE A PROOF BEFORE I ORDER? 

Yes, I will always send you a proof of your design via email for you to check and agree before I go ahead and make your stationery. 

 

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER?

My minimum order is usually 25 but due to Covid-19 I currently have no minimum order.
